Desi Granola

It’s a great evening snack and I always carry it for traveling. Easy to make and the recipe is so adaptive-you can add or subtract your choice of ingredients - like add nuts , pumpkin seeds or even some bhujiya. 


Recipe

INGREDIENTS

Spice blend -

Mix together 1 tsp red chilli powder

2 tsp Amchur powder

2 tsp dry mint powder

1 tsp roasted jeera powder

1 tsp chaat masala

salt according to taste

Makhana

Mumrmure

Peanuts

Cashew

Curry Leaves

Mustard seeds


METHOD

In a pan, heat little ghee and roast makhana on medium flame till crisp

Keep aside. Heat little ghee and add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Stir and add raw peanuts. Roast them till crisp. You can add some cashew also. Add the spice mix, stir quickly and add the murmure along with the roasted makhana. Mix everything thoroughly so the spices mix nicely with the murmure and makhana

Roast for 7-8 mins till everything is crisp.You can add some roasted chane, Khakra or roasted papad too. Store it in air tight container and enjoy
